8 GB SCSI Harddisk, not allocated, for E:
512 MB RAM
Floppy disk and CDrom not connected on startup

Installation

Installed with all default settings.
  • Administrator password: beheer
  • Server name: win2003
  • Network settings:
    • Ip-address: 192.168.177.10
    • Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
    • Gateway: 192.168.177.2
    • Set up DNS to internal server

Configuration

After installation the following steps were performed:
  1. Installed VMTools
  2. Set up profile and settings
  3. Install all support packs and patches (so up to date to 26-08-2009)
  4. Defragmented the second disk
  5. Created a snapshot
